PRESCHOOL SUMMER ART CLASS (4-5 yrs)
June 6 - August 29, 2025 (no class August 1)
Friday Mornings: 10:30-11:30AM
Our Preschool Summer Art Class fosters school readiness by promoting independence and self-efficacy, social interaction/group awareness, emotional regulation, attention/concentration, following instructions, and planning and sequencing simple tasks. Children deepen cognitive skills and enhance fine motor skills by recognizing and reproducing shapes and colors, writing their names, using scissors and glue/paste correctly, and holding pencils, crayons, and paint brushes correctly, etc.
For one hour each week during the summer, children explore a variety of colorful, sensory-rich art materials and joyfully express their creative imaginations by drawing, painting, collaging, printing, and sculpting in a safe and uplifting atmosphere!
ART DISCOVERIES SUMMER CLASS (Grades K-3)
June 2 - August 25, 2025 (no class July 28)
Mondays: 4:30-6:00PM
Art Discoveries Summer Class allows children to engage in hands-on explorations with vibrant art materials and 'funtastic' art techniques. Each week is jam-packed with creative fun, and kids are encouraged to imagine the possibilities and express their individuality through engaging and thought-provoking art projects.
